Don't see the point in signing both Whitehead and Bateman, be too many back rowers.

Where do Westerman & Whiting fit in? We don't need them both, IMO and I'd take Bateman of the two.

Still leaves one of them in the 20's. If they're cheap enough that the 2nd row doesn't have a disproportionate amount of cap then fair enough, but I doubt they are. Then we're signing players like Johnson to play as first choice in the front row? Just doesn't add up to me.

No more excuses from next year, exciting times ets hope the missing fans flock back and Johnson though not a big name as you said can@t have a team full of Ellis n Chase,he is a very good palyer and will improve with better around him

I agree though, Gentle doesn't rotate his back row as it is, I can't see him going into next season with 5 'first grade' back rowers.

Always liked Johnson, don't know what's happened this year, but Agar's in charge so that's one thing in his favour.
