Walking in a Woodsy Wonderland
I could honestly cry.
I had a heart attack early in June which really floored me (as I'm not THAT old). I haven't seen a game since Saints at home, but had the "pleasure" of watching the farcical displays against Leeds and Wakefield. Now this news just makes me not want to bother any more.
My grandad proudly led Hull out at Wembley in 1980, against a team which he always regarded as our sworn enemies. He would turn in his grave at how low we have sunk with this news.
Like I say, I could cry.

The clubs have lauded this as "exciting" but it isn't. It's a sad day for rugby league in the city.
Aside from costs I can see no positives whatsoever. Can anyone see Saints and Wigan doing this, or Warrington and Widnes?
Pearson getting a bit worked up on Radio Humberside right now.

Pearson is an imbecile. He's talking absolute codswallop.
The academy isn't the problem, our U19's are great. It's their transition to the first team that's the issue, how can them playing for this merged side help that?

Back in Hull.
Playing devils advocat, if each year 3/4 top class players are produced for both teams and it allowed both clubs to progress forward, would anyone complain.
This is something neither club are doing compared to the other top clubs.

What a load of gash that interview was, they reckon it'll be better than most championship clubs, infact they want to form a u23's to play players not in the first team so neither club has to have a dual reg anywhere.
So in effect a new club is being formed in the championship.
Utter gash
Pearson is working for David Lloyd, he must be
