We had a proper pack in 2016 and 2017 teams were scared of ellis manu and mini

ComeOnYouUll isn't talking about winning things though, judt finishing in the play offs. Everyone knows we're miles off winning anything

Are you a bot?

You said we have to win every game to make the play offs. That's not true as things stand. I never said we'll win the Grand Final but we could sneak in to the top six with five wins from seven. I suspect we'll probably miss out but we shall see.

Not so. We have a disadvantage in terms of points difference but if we win today it'll be

Warrington 22
Rovers 22
Salford 20/22
Leeds 18/20
Hull FC 20

Could do with Leigh beating Leeds and Saints beating Salford today and we are in the mix.

The others aren't all going to win every game. Leeds have to travel to us and Catalans and have Warrington at home. Salford have a tough run in.

That’s actually given me a slightly rosier level of optimism.

The sum total of my hope for the season is sadly just a play-off game, but it’s definitely still in our gift.

Test where we are they 2nd bottom :?

That how bad our expectations have got when we're classing 2nd bottom as a big game

We won't make the play offs we pretty much have to win every game imo including saints and Wigan away

Test our mentality.

Rest is usual nonsense.

We all know Lane has been very poor this season and shouldnt be in the 17 but he maybe is because there's nobody better at the club, Cator whilst a 100% player should really only be back up too or at least he might work if we had some more dynamic second rows alongside him too. Fash is a decent prop though. Great tackler, big engine even if he isnt a wrecking ball but you cant have a team full of wrecking balls

Even the most rose tinted wearing of fans know & accept we have a squad that is far too lightweight to make any challenge in SL. There is no argument we are and have been poor in the most part due to the recruitment/retention since the the end of 2017.
Taking that into account reaching the play offs or getting close would be an achievement in itself and a huge turnaround from the last 3-4 years of total implosions mid season.
No one is getting carried away or thinks we are a team that can challenge but the playoffs is a goal that isn’t unachievable which is what COYU is saying and today is certainly a test of the mentality as Dave said.

The number of players not been offered renewals says all we need to know and just reaffirms what many fans have said the past few seasons.

Was wondering if it’s skinny jeans trainers and t shirt today, or boots and rain coat, the ref seems to dislike both teams so it’s set for a bottom of the table clash with one team fighting for their existence, and the other dreaming of a possible sixth position, which early in the season the way we was playing, I’d have accepted this scenario gratefully, come on yu ull.

I’d say more snorkel and flippers the amount of rain we’ve had.
