Not just down to that. We did not have a prop in our starting 13 against Wigan and and only two on the bench. That did not stop Abdull, Lewis, Dagger and Litten all starring. Your two castoffs alone would have improved your team by 100%

I’m glad those lads are doing well, long may it continue. :D

And yet their current club is sitting bottom of the league having just avoided relegation last year on points difference.

That is correct. However that has nothing to do with this discussion.

I do make allowances for you however as this weekend has not been good for you. I’m sure you personally really hated our result on Thursday, otherwise you would not have felt the need to get in an off topic dig. For that to be followed up with a woeful display on Friday must have compounded your misery.

Hadley and litten wouldn't have improved anything last night, we lost because we were down on energy and were out enthused. I'd take Johnstone over litten every day of the week, Hadley is solid but we've got enough 'solid' players.

How did Hadley come into the discussion? Litten would not have been out enthused. He made more breaks on Thursday than the entire FC team on Friday. Of course he might have been affected by the general malaise that seems to exist if he was still playing over the river.

I prefer the opinions of commentators and reporters. KR are a team of young hungry men who since the restart played an adventurous, entertaining game against Wire, developed and improved against Saints and improved even further and played well for 80 minutes against Wigan. FC at the moment are seen as an outfit that has plenty of star material that do not play as a team and individually are not at the top of their game. That opinion was emphasised last night.

I meant abdull not Hadley, it doesn't matter how you play, you're still bottom of the league, I'd rather win 10-0 every week than lose playing 'adventurous' rugby, all I want to see from fc is commitment, willingness to work for each other and doing the basics right, something I think a new coach can achieve, we've got a squad good enough to beat anyone we just need someone with fresh ideas who can get us playing as a team.

For once I think Phil Clarke was right last night saying lots of players at Hull are just satisfied with their place in the squad and not enough are hungry enough to improve and take the team forward, we are also desperate for some kind of leadership on field.

Well I've had a great weekend, thanks, Keith. Rugby league notwithstanding, obviously.

I wouldn't say that I 'hated' your result. Obviously I want Rovers to lose every game unless it benefits us and I'm sure the opposite applies to you. However results like Thursday happen now and again and fair play it was a great performance and result. My post wasn't off topic though - my point is that Litten and Abdul wouldn't necessarily have improved us last night. They both had chances at Hull and only occasionally showed any real promise. Lets not kid ourselves that it was Cooke and Hodgson.

FC obviously did not appreciate what they had with Hodgdon.

Yes they did have chances at FC but seem to be showing what they can do with a decent coach. Ward at Broncos and Smith at Rovers. Abdull had an excellent season in London. Unfortunately injury has limited his chances with us. Time will tell if it was a one off on Thursday but the three matches we’ve played since lockdown give cause for optimism each one better than previous one. Not an improvement that FC have shown so far.
