You don't sign a player purely for their goal kicking and whilst I think foster has done a good job, I don't think he is a top class winger. Lineham will be much better than foster in a couple of years

Not sure. As I say, I think Sharp is closer than either of them. I just personally think that wingers need to be either quick or strong if not both, and Foster isn't particularly either. Crookes is at least quick, I'll give him that.

and to be fair to the kid he is a decent winger too and certainly not afraid to do his fair share of graft IMO

Nobody should be picked just on the basis of their goal kicking ability, no matter how good at it they are.

I have been impressed with Foster's composure and he doesnt seem to make many bad decisions. Don't get me wrong I arent advocating us signing him and i agree with the other posters on Foster's limitations but he does seem mentally strong and reliable. We have had some real metally weak and downright dopey players in the last few years and it was refreshing to see some steel and resolve from the side last night, Foster included.
