With Hull Live saying we have targets at 7 and 11, I'd be interested to know who targeted them. Was it players Smith identified before parting ways, or is it James Clarke who has picked them.

Maybe, the NRL players were recommended by Mark O Meley, who was assistant coach at Newcastle (Hoy, Clifford & Ese Ese) and now Canterbury (Okunbor,Brown & Pele)
Motu Tony offered his services recently, appears to have been snubbed.

So we could have potentially 4 overseas spots for Hoy, Brown, Sao and Carlos.

Not sure about 4, but should certainly be 2, with Hoy and Brown (although i'd keep Brown).

Id like to see the following positions brought in
Hoy - Halfback (O Sullivan or Sexton)
Brown - Backrow (Allick)
Carlos - centre
Sao - Loose forward

Add in a domestic prop (bullock) and backrower (Royle)

Can't see Okunbor being here much longer either. Id keep Sao or Brown over him.

I'd be surprised at immediate wholesale changes. One or two maybe.

100% just getting a bit excited, last thing we want to do is rush signings. New coach needs to be involved if there are past this season.

If we have cash and he hasn't signed, McMeeken should be on our radar for next year, maybe Sutton. I'd take Whitehead for a year too, until Armstrong/Jebson etc are ready.

Ideal situation for me would be to release Carlos and Hoy, bring in a 7 and backrower, maybe two domestic signings in a centre and another backrower.

Think Sao and Brown are worth keeping until the end of the year.

Somebody needs to have a serious eye on retention for next year with quite a few OOC ?

Would keep Cam Scott.

Wing really weak so would not renew Darnell, not sure who on earth we can attract.

Why don't they put Okunbor on the wing if the club don't rate him didn't he play there in NRL

Club denying brown going currently, been told he’s wanting to distance himself from all the negativity and abuse getting dished out.
