Considering you weren't at the meeting you seem to know a lot, you know he wants to play hooker, his salary, who he wants to play for and that he wants to sign a new deal.

Disappointing to hear about Dobson, would have been an excellent signing. But money talks, particularly with the salary cap exclusion Kashkow has secured from Redhall, we were never realistically actually going to sign him I suppose. Ho hum. Adds further weight to the rumour I heard last season that Hudge had refused a transfer fee for Dobbo to go to Salford for this season.

So is it Dureau who's the new object of our desire then ? Great player on his day. As a previous poster postulated, the medical would need to go over him with a fine tooth comb, possibly literally !!!

Yeah because Catalans have been so successful the last few years, it would be at worst a sideways step.

Better hope Kevin larroyer doesn't think like that.

They have Bosc, Pryce and have just signed another half Williams so it could be them wanting rid.

If he past a rigorous medical I'd take him in a heart beat , would like Tommy Leuluai aswell but that would just be greedy

Id take a fit Dureau over a fit Dobson anyday.
The fitness side is the sticking point though.

Given the injury record of our halves over the years I think Dureau would be a disaster waiting to happen. If we could keep him on the field he would be great for us, but I'm not confident that will happen.
