Nah we just fancied winning the GF that year and against all the odds too, as it would cause the biggest upset since we previously caused the biggest upsets in GF history when we won it twice from 5th position

Things have moved on from the old song of "Old faithful you'll never win at Wembley" It's now you'll never win a Grand Final!
It doesn't have the same ring to it but it's still true

Weve beaten Wigan a fair few times in recent years but hardly any at the kc where they have dominated us

You easily pass the memory test with just a small blip to record. Wigan scored 6 tries and only 1 goal for 26 points.

Context is pretty important no? Your game had much more at stake for both clubs. we haven't won the GF because we haven't been good enough! like finally winning at wembley, the grand final is the next on the horizon, signings next season looking good so who knows

be a few more years before leeds get back there!
