Agreed.

Hall ,Briscoe and Yeaman to battle it out for 2 centre slots.

But prob Briscoe to take Raynors place long term??

Would like to sign Broughton, think he could be Raynor's long term replacement. Another filling in year for Briscoe next year I think, would like to see him given the chance at centre when injuries occur.

I don't see the point in bringing over another second row when we already have more than enough. To be honest i'm glad we aren't getting Harrison as I think Moa is gunna be a top prop in Super League.

Harrison isn't a second rower.... but unfortunately it looks unlikely to be him

Glad that one's quashed TBH. If we're going to be bringing in another overseas player I think we have other positions in more need of attention than the back row, personally.

To us REAL fans, there's no better feeling than winning competitions. Getting to a final is next. Then a top 6 finish or semi-final appearance. Then I suppose the derby counts as the most important league fixture.

Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.

Quite sad, really!

SPOT ON!

You mean like prop? ;)

Can't believe people are saying they would rather sign up Moa, who although he has made a great impact, is still an unknown player (played what 4/5 games) and looks stand out in possibly the worst front row we've had for years rather than a creative back which will be sorely needed if Long gets injured as we're back to square one.

Jamie Thackeray made great impact in his first year back and people where saying it would be a travesty if he didn't get another contract at the end of last season. The club doesn't need a prop at the moment and don't need to hold onto one who won't be first choice if all are fit next season.

Do Saints/Leeds use quota spots on back up players?

With typical under-statement, Saints coach Mick Potter said: "Sean Long didn't surprise me. We all know how good he is and he should be happy with the way he went." That could be translated as, "damn him, damn, damn him, the little ..."

Yeah and he got an extension then sat back, swilled copious amounts of ale down his neck every weekend and did nowt on the pitch !
