When explaining the quota rules, it helps if the people explaining them don't make typos!
Basically, as Easty tried to put, if you are a quota player you are also non-fed unless...
a) You signed for a club in this country before 2008 (when the rule came in)
b) You were trained over here for 3 years before the age of 21.
c) You are given other "special dispensation" by the RFL (eg, playing for a club that get kicked out of SL for spending more than they could afford!)
When all the players that are affected by (a) retire, only a tiny minority of imports will be affected by (b) and (c), so it's safe to say that being non-quota means jack sh*t in playing terms these days. However, it could make getting a visa a lot simpler!
