Whilst it looks like we've missed out on the two targets for 2013, I still think we're looking at a much stronger HB partnership for next season. I'm hopeful that less reliance on Seymour as the go to man will bring a different game out of him. I know that the situation is far from where a lot would like to see it, but let's give him a chance to see what he can do.
I'm optimistic about next season even if we don't bring a "recognised" scrum half in.
At last a massively sensible post on the subject well said
Seymore has a knee injury he picked up in pre season aparently last year and was jabbed up all year due to this reoccurence of an old injury, he hardly trained and was on ice i am led to believe after almost all matches, its not chronic , not career ending just needs work , all the sensationalism on the injury has come from wild fantasys on this board...
he has now had this addressed and will play hopefully a full part in the coming campaign
No he isnt the Scott Prince messiah we all hoped for but he is also a darned sight better player than he showed last year and thats all because of the knee injury and not because he is junk, look back on u toob at some of his pre FC stuff , the lad is talented and should get full support from all ...
AND lets add he is definately the best defensive half in SL IMO so add that to a fitter Seymore , with a fitter knee and we should see alongside Holdsworth tons of go forward and a lot more savvy with ball in hand and i think he will prove many of us wrong in a big way ....
