Heard the Thompson to Leeds rumour other day and seems strange how we never announced it like the other deals so expect Leeds to have got him.
Kane Evans has played last two Parramatta games and seems back in favour and under contract so that might have changed. Really interested to know who the second confirmed signing along with Sao is

Josh Jones? Saints Leeds in for him. In fact was all set for saints by all accounts but came here

I didn't mean competing for signatures, I meant for example.been able to sign a top.player from Saints like Percival or makinson ect

That's a fair point, when do big clubs sign top players from each other.

Only really happens when clubs want rid or the player has done something wrong, Watts and Hardraker being two that come to mind.

Clubs like Hull, Leeds, Wigan and Saints, will recruit from the NRL or clubs that can't match the potential achievements of the clubs mentioned above such as Huddersfield and Salford.

Dreamt last night we’d re-signed Liam Watts !!
He was rolled out as our latest signing before kick off against his own team Cas !!!

He and Radders had made up and he was back B&W.
I woke up gutted.

What I wouldn’t give if that could have been true. I miss that kid so much.

I remember we were once linked with Paul Sculthorpe, from Saints,

Our coach at the time Mcrae, said something along these lines.

“I would never do that to Eamon”

Apparently Mahe has been released by Wests. He's out for the rest of the season due to injury & since he doesn't have a contract for next season they've let him go now. Apparently.

I don't see a spot for him at Hull next season u fortunately.

he'll be very unlikely to get a gig in the NRL next season. his best hope was wests resign him. can see someone like Cas being interested

Agreed, it's bad enough seeing him in a Wests shirt. Didn't he go back home because his partner wasn't settled over here though?
