Sneyd wouldn't be a better than Dobson. He's proven season after season that he's arguably the best 7 in SL. Sneyd has had a very good half a season playing in a very good Castleford team. Not saying Sneyd is poor/average but he's proven nothing yet.

I like Dobson but he never done it a top side and never won anything, you have to wonder why at Rovers no top side came in for him, when Rovers sold other players. Obviously neither has Sneyd, but he is British,younger and cheaper. I liked him last season and even more this year.

Nobody has know way of knowing if he would be a better signing, but IMO he would be.

In the long term Sneyd would be the better signing + imo Dobsons heart would never be fully in it at Hull after so long across the river.

sneyd might be younger than dureau,but I think dureau would suit hull better.probably end up withneither.

He has been deregistered although Catalans insist he has a future there (contracted until the end of next season).

They've said that him going on loan to another club is an option. Reports in the French press suggest that his agent David Riolo is sounding out potential destinations. If so, with our well publicised half back woes you'd imagine we'd be near the top of his contact list.

Ok,thanks for that..would be happy to take a punt on him on loan for the rest of the season..
