Some interesting points, says that all current FC academy players from age 15 upwards are ringfenced, so won't join KR. Claims both clubs are losing £500k a year between them currently.
But most interesting for me was his response to the Radford questions at the end, he couldn't wait to divert the topic on to the players, no firm backing given, unlike his 'Radford won't be sacked' interview in the HDM a few months back.

Pearson is an imbecile. He's talking absolute codswallop.
The academy isn't the problem, our U19's are great. It's their transition to the first team that's the issue, how can them playing for this merged side help that?
Dab
Don't think I've ever seen a poster do such a dramatic u turn as you have

Yes, but he did say Lee was working "incredibly hard". Unfortunately he's not working incredibly successfully.
I guess nobody knows how much it costs to run 2 academy teams, but I'd imagine it won't come cheap.
Catalans are in the U19's next year - yet more expense.
I'm not agreeing with what they're doing, but it sounds like a cost cutting exercise, which may produce a better crop of youngsters if they are representing 1 team rather than 2.

Or loses to the shiittest team in SL Glad you've come over to the dark side
The double whammy of that plus the merger may have been the breaking point.
I give a lot of my spare time to junior RL, so this news may have hit me harder than others I guess. I'm despondent.
As I said earlier, I can put up with turd performances, turd players and turd coaches. That's sport, it's cyclical and we've no divine right to win every game. I've always maintained when criticising peoples one-eyed rants about Radford or Yeamo that they were only part of the issues at the club, the main one being Pearson's mismanagement.
