There's not a single player from Saturdays u18s game in that KR squad. We have 2 in ours. This is just posturing from them.

And what they are basically saying is that every single one of the 17 lads who played in that academy game is now injured and unavailable to make the squad, which is clearly bullshit.
Even if you don't think they are ready to play, at least just name one and let then be an unused sub (or even bring them on for a bit if the result is basically decided by 70 minutes). It would still be a good experience and learning curve for a young lad to be named, warm up with the team, spend the game on the sidelines rather than up in the stands.

I did like Maguire as a player but as a coach for half a season he has done nothing but whine that the world is against him.
I'm not sold on Hodgson but to be fair to him he could see injuries mounting and players been moved on so he made an early move into the loan market to fill the spaces and he has given debuts to a fair few young players this season. Maguire has just cried about injuries every week and repeatedly claim he doesn't know how he's going to field a team the following week.

I think our 2 were named in the squad for the Toulouse game the following day.

Hodgson did the exact same thing last season with Burrell against Huddersfield. Gave him a couple of minutes at the end of the game. He was only seventeen at the time.

And now it seems he’s whining because Tony didn’t involve him as much this season

Rather convenient and creates an excuse as to why he can’t be blamed for the poor showing this season

Not great I guess otherwise they'd be banging on about it on twitter every hour.

I think 14/15k is the best we can expect.
