Gutted for the lad. Looked bad when he went down.

Gutted for Trueman, it’s been no coincidence our form turned with his return.

Ultimately not good enough today, granted it’s tough to adjust after losing a half, but I still felt we had enough to beat Wire today.

I can’t recall a more frustrating player in recent memory than Dwyer. He has moments and creates opportunities from nowhere only to either lose the ball or throw a terrible pass. He certainly highlights how vital Houghton has been for us this year, his steadiness will be a welcome return next week.

It was always going to be an outside chance, but we have 4 finals ahead of us now. Do we deserve play offs? Probably not, but we can’t afford another defeat should we want to reach them.

I don't think 4 wins would be enough. I can see two of Hull KR, Warrington and Salford getting to 28 points.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I’m all honesty the play offs were always going to be a tough ask given the 7 game losing streak at the early part of the season. Though today’s performance and result was disappointing we just weren’t a side that was going to be good enough. Think Smith has made massive inroads considering the limitations to change things player wise for this season.
You can’t expect to make the playoffs when you have a quota forward released and not replaced, have another quota spot not making the 17 unless injuries dictate, loose another quota player with a long term injury and then see our most consistent performer in the SR banned for 7 games and then released.

At least we have made a fist of the rest of the season and being in with a chance which is miles away from where we have been the past few seasons.

Thought Wire were poor today, which says a lot about us when we were second best. The pack had too many missing today to make any real inroads.

Dwyer was awful. A good dummy run once in a blue moon doesn't make a good hooker.

Think Litten needs a rest, he looks battered.

Gutted for Trueman. Id be seeing if we can get someone in like Hampshire as well as a 7. Trueman will be missing for 9 month.

Important we don't give up now and put in a performance against Leeds

With how we’re looking on and off the pitch, it’s only a matter of time until we do again. Very good times for the robins in the present time.

Think you had improved your squad a lot from last year but Tony still can’t get you near play offs. Pretty exciting with all your consistently stand out players jumping ship for next year as well. :D

Pretty sure this has been a reoccurring thing with rovers fans over the last 10 or so years, going to do this, going to do that. Its pretty predictable and until you can walk the walk you'll just continue being laughed at.

Well at least we've waited until 26th August to end our season, an improvement on most years since 2017!

Think today showed there are quite a few players in the squad that just aren't top6 material no matter how hard they try.

If Lane was an overseas or even out of town player he'd be getting slated, been rubbish for 18months now. I've still no idea what Lovodua is good at. Fash and Brown are too small and Dwyer has one trick.

The only positive was the effort was there and we didn't have one of our usual end of season heavy scores, but pressure will be on to start well next season.

That injury has really cocked us up for next season as i think we are struggling to find a replacement for Clifford and we have no halfbacks at the club ready for first team football.
Think they need to make a decision on McNamara as for me he is destined to be a Championship player.
Litten needs taking out of the team now as i agree he is battered.
I know he is only 20 but his link play is non existent and he and the club need to work on this because he doesnt have the raw speed to compensate in other areas.
Looking likely now that Hoy will move to halfback.
If we do just wonder if we should look at Jack Walker at full back before HKR extend his contract
