Agree about the fee for Tickle, but I guess players that are good, experienced, available and willing to join a club that is 'building', are not that thick on the ground. If he goes, 6 might mean 8 after all. With Watts and Pitts, that is a remarkable turnover.
Bateman is worth a fee, Whitehead if he became available for free would be okay but not worth splashing cash for IMO, in these circumstances.
