Gidley is in contract negotiations for next year so hopefully we will have Soliola on one side and Gidley on the other for 2010.

Then in 2011 Lyon is out of contract and he's already said he's coming back to Saints so Lyon and Soliola it is. Plus we'll be moving into our New OWNED Stadium in 2011 also

Saints youngsters are not ready yet at centre as we have Jamie Foster who is still only 17 and kicks goals for fun.

If we could get a really good NRL Fullback or Stand off I'd sign Matty Smith if he is Available.

agree that we have had money tied up in crocker and probably held back but with the number of OOC players for us this season a bit of forward thinking could have seen us sign both

Said it before and will say again - Why the hell would a player of Soliola's (sp) stature want to come to Hull FC when Saints are sniffing around? We'd be about 5th on his list!

Priority is a SH without any doubt whatsoever.

After that I would not say for certainty a centre, depends on who stays, we could need a fullback, we might need a prop. If Lee/Houghton do really well we might move Berro into the centres.

we could keep whiting at cantre to partner calderwood as they seem to be developing a good partnership so far.

Most players would play anywhere for the top dollar. If you pay them what they're worth - or what they want (which might not be the same figure) - they'll move to Hull FC or anywhere else. They're mercenaries, like footballers and other professional sportsmen, and who can blame them - they have a short career.
