He is what we need, but a squad containing Chase, McGoldrick, Watts, Westerman and Aspinwall who have all had their off-field problems in the past will be a real test of Gentle's man-management skills.

at the same time it is hard to turn down the current SL Man Of Steel, particularly one that plays in a position that we need to improve in.

agree mate, would be awsome in black and white, players can do what they want off the field for me, aslong as they produce the goods on it

Well he has got to go somewhere, since it doesn't look like he can stay at Cas! I wouldn't be surprised to see Holdsworth at Wigan if they can't persuade Finch to change his mind.

Warrington are overloaded with half-backs, OK one of them is getting on a bit, so who else can pay. We apparently made an offer last season and I am sure there was other interest then which is why Cas agreed the crippling deal with him they did.

If someone can fork out a transfer fee and offer him decent terms and a chance to compete a bit further up the table than Cas. If Pearson is as ambitious as he claims to be he has got a chance to prove it.

Maybe McGoldrick's move was only to make him feel at home! Mind you, you have got Mr Westerman to help out there!

yes a big lad who is in the mold of moa but i would not say as good as moa we need some 1 like that though.
chase would be a good signing and high profile. mcgoldrick wont be hear next year and i doubt aspinwall will be either i think westy and watts both want to win things and get better under gentle. chase in a team that is capable of success i think would calm him down and he would not get so petty i feel sorry for him playing for cas and having to do it all himself.

Agree we seem to be signing players with a bit of baggage but i cannot for one second se AP and Gentle accepting any poop of any player. Besides as has been said as long as they produce the goods on the field their private life is their private life.

I hope its not Chase, i think hes a bigger w anker than Cockayne both on and off the field. Ive not seen him do anything of note for ages either

Bizarre, you're happy with the McGoldrick signing but don't want us to sign Chase and yet you moan about how poor we are all the time!!
