Ah Peter Sharp then, he took a team to Old Trafford.Or stick with Agar he got a team to Wembley.

I'm pretty sure you can!

The REAL fact is Walters took a Catalans side that was on the up and ruined them. They finished 3rd in 2008 under Potter. They squeezed in to the top 8 on the last day in 2009 and played a fairly weak team in Wakefield and an out of form Huddersfield to get to a game against Leeds.

Them two play off wins are the only thing positive you can say about Walters, as he took them to dead last the year after. 3rd to 14th in two years. And you want him to be Hull coach?! We might as well get Peter Sharpe back. He actually got us to a GF! What happened next...?

The true testament to how poor Walters was as a coach can be seen by the success of a Catalans side one year later being 5th (one point off the top 4 with two games to go). Anyone is better than Walters. Even Agar.

For once i agree, we need a proven coach. SL could be a strange place next season with all these new coaches and my bets will be on the sides with the new coaches will be the poorest so we need someone who knows SL and has lots of experience so it has to be Noble for me.

Have to agree with Weaver, don't think Walters was that great and when you look at his % during his time at the dragons it ranks around the same as Agar. If i'm being critical I would say he took over a good side from Potter actually took them backwards instead of building on the foundations laid for him by previous coaches.

if FC appoint Noble it will cost them 2000 season pass holders, may as well keep Fubar.

Think you're letting your own dislike of him invent a 'fact' there.

Whilst I'd prefer others, appointing Noble would be an improvement and for my family result in at least 3 former pass holders going back.

I don't agree on Noble (although he wouldn't be the worst) but we need a proven coach from either here or Oz.
