People seem to think we can appoint NRL assistants with less than 2 or 3 years experience and we'll suddenly become top 4. Dream on, there's a massive amount of work to do before we're in that position. Noble wouldn't be bad for us, not at all.
Completely agree, even if he did 'only' get us to 1 game away from the Grand Final like he did with Wigan (twice) we'd still be in a far better position.
I also think he would be far less of a risk, not every assistant makes a good manager. Peter Sharp being a prime example, highly respected as a coach but his recruitment and squad building left a lot to be desired.
