Good player who I'm convinced will never be a great player and although I know that every team can't have 13 great players Dean has promised a lot but rarely delivered much for me. I like us not majoring on sentiment and aspiring to continue looking from better players than the run of the mill genuine guys who have been given their chance. Rovers will certainly get a hard working squad player and a nice bloke but he's hardly a game breaker for me nor now will he ever be.

Good luck to him though, I'm surprised he isn't heading to Wakey he's certainly been talking to them, as others say the proof of the pudding in the end will be who we sign to replace him.

Suffered a bit from having utility value and moved about too much.
We would have seen a better Dean Hadley if he had been given the chance of a regular second row spot.
Like others have said disappointed to see him go but the club cannot keep everyone happy.

Yes, the front page suggests the interview is with him.

The right decision for him to retire, hopefully his career ends on a high.

Tongan prop for the Warriors more likely to get his partner Agnatius Passi as he is not signed up, Tevita is.

Wonder if we don’t actually need an Ellis replacement as he’ll be playing on another year?

No doubt Motu is liaising with the club still over potential targets

I'll be slightly disappointed if we sign the likes of Satae and Sao after been linked with Glenn and Thompson, we need a leader in the pack to replace Ellis (Who even if he plays next year, we probably play around 50% of games)

As Jake has mentioned, if we lose Washbrook, Manu, Mini, Westerman and Hadley, that leave us short in the back row, and with no young players in that position, a few injuries and we could be in trouble.

I think one of Satae/Sao would be Ok, but the other NRL signing should be someone with more experienced and proven.

It does seem that the players we're currently linked with are all fringe NRL with few appearances and I agree we need some experience

Carlos better than Fonau easily. Carlos oozes class, Fonau was always up and down IMO.
