The Semi Final venue was selected before the semi finalists were known. The stadium is close to Rugby League heartlands with good rail links and v close to a motorway junction. It’s really not that hard a journey from Hull, which isn’t close to anywhere.

I wonder if you’d be calling for a ground in the middle of all clubs if Catalan, Toulouse, Toronto or London were involved.

Obviously not but in recent times weve taken the biggest following to challenge cup semis points hardly a reasonable comparison

Donny is closer to Leeds than Hull and your magnificent South Standers still didn’t turn up, if memory serves

We’ve been in so many semi finals and finals the novelty has worn off for some. Obviously that is not the case for the Hull teams.

So fickle Leeds fans then if they can't be bothered to turn up and support their team. Anyway Bulls ensured you won't need to worry about travel this year.

Yes, I do live in west York’s, but I was referring to the many who live locally in hull who, given the venue, be offered reduced travel cost via coaches put on by the RFL. That would be a reasonable offer, do you not think?

What a bizarre comment. Loyal fans don’t want to go to the showpiece occasions and would rather only turn up for run of the mill dross !

What’s the point of turning up week in week out if you don’t want to go to the event games, still, nothing for you to worry about last, or this season ....

Not really. the potential imbalance of supporter numbers is the real issue. It's like us playing wire in goole and claiming it as neutral

But that’s the whole point. When we played at Donny on in 2016, on a Friday night, IMO Wigan fans should have been assisted as it very much favoured Hulls fans.

True neutrality for a double header will difficult given the spread of teams. Only realistic way would be to scrap Magic and host the semis at the same venue, eg St James, Bramhall Lane.
