I think some people, perhaps a minority, enjoy the queuing as part of the big event occasion. Some want to buy large numbers of tickets to sit together which may be tricky to administer on an online system where you need to register passes to customer accounts and so on. The "acceptability" of it depends on the context of the arrangements the club is working within. I don't know what they are, but they might be different to those of the other clubs involved.

As usual we get some nonsense about me in response to some reasonanle questions. I am a supporter of the club, you are right. I won a free pass a few years ago when Feka was playing, but it was a one off as part of a, promotional competition that year. Trying to use this as some sort of perverse leverage in a reasonable debate makes you look silly.

No perverse leverage, simply looking for some context to you continually refusing to admit the blatantly obvious. Anyway, thanks to Airlie Street for confirming it's a financial decision by the club who have 2 options other than the status quo but don't want to pay for them

Of course it's a financial decision. Buying a system that's only used for online Challenge cup semi final tickets and maybe Magic.

cost benefit analysis of inconveniencing your loyal fanbase against modernising your sales channel options. Easier for a sporting club than a real business I guess but pretty shortsighted IMO but I'm sure the beans on one side add up to more than the other

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Depends on how much per ticket the SMC wanted to sell online? From a £21 ticket the SMC may have requested say £6? FC would lose out on a fair bit of money and so would the RFL,so don’t blame the club one little bit.SMC were charging £3 extra for cup ties at home so no doubt would have wanted more for the SF
