You slagged of Bureta last night, singling him out, whilst his positional sense is poor, he often is isolated, due to Griffin similar weakness in defence, admittedly Bureta can’t decide to stick or twist at times, and everyone can see it, but you have already rubbished our incoming winger “Swift” before he has arrived, it’s so negative.

As for Jackson Hastings, he has the ability to attack both edges, as he did last night with cross field kicks, and Louis running threat, we would have needed four Buretas to stop Pauli.

Salford are a decent team, they nearly pinched it, but we prevailed, and a try which will live long in my memory from Ratu was worth the rain soaked journey.

And pizzin wet through again this morning queuing for our Semi Final tickets.

Hope you’ve dried out.

Should have waited, there was no q at 3.30 when i went

Glad we agree about swift and faraimo

Let's be honest, hardly any of us thought we would be anywhere near challenging this season, so if we get anywhere close with our squad then that's a bonus.

Exactly. To be in the top 5 and Cup semi final given our injuries early on is terrific. There'll always be something to complain about - we only ever score from Sneyd kicking to Talanoa, right? What a way to exist

Lol. :D

I was speaking to James Clarke in the ticket office, I asked what was the situation with Ratu, he said “ he had an option for a further year, but since he’s turned to league, it’s a difficult negotiation with the British Army, and now the RFU are apparently showing interest”

Boll0cks. Radford unearths another gem and Union steal it. Will just enjoy watching him while he's with us, most unexpected. :D

I seem to remember I said we would "make the playoffs with a bit to spare." Saints and Warrington aside we have the best squad in the league. Anyone who thought we would be bottom half of the table when they made their pre season predictions simply doesn't know what they are talking about.

As a whole we have performed around about my expectations. My only real complaint is that when we are having an off day we just stop trying and start sulking, and that isn't acceptable for a professional team. I aren't worried about the defence. We clearly can defend when we want to, the stats just appear lop sided because of the few occasions that we have just given up. Any problems we have are all based around attitude, not ability.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I bet we are wishing we offered him a long and lucrative deal right from the start. Hull plucked him from relative obscurity and gave him a chance, I hope he is grateful enough for that to give us at least another year. If we can get the army on side that is.

“The Old Boy” network still runs this country, so if RFU coming sniffing he’ll be off.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
