Let's be honest, hardly any of us thought we would be anywhere near challenging this season, so if we get anywhere close with our squad then that's a bonus.

True but i also didn't expect us to defend like an east hull team

Rovers?

Those 3 games have done us in points difference wise, We have shown strong defence at times, in big games I think we would be ok.

But I agree our left defence needs work, Carlos or Connor there will improve that plus a new backrower.

Looked to me that inu landed flat on his back fortunately so might go in griffins favour but I expect a ban. It wasnt malicious but certainly an illegal tackle and we can have no complaints about the red card

Callum Watkins got a yellow for the same style tackle and sending off sufficient at the later disciplinary.

@joshogriffo

Night went from bad to worse. Tackle wasn't Intentional and im just glad @krisnan_inu didn't get hurt. We play a physical game and sometimes these things happen. Accept and deal with it.

@krisnan_inu

All in good faith. I knew it was an accident. It happens. Tried to get myself together before getting up as I don’t like carrying on unless I’m actually sore. Anyways sore back won’t stop me from playing.

I’ll be sweet. That’s what physics are paid for.

Minichello would have been subbed had Manu not aggravated his arm injury but we all know his defence is poor.
Jamie Shaul should also make more effort to bolster that left edge

Agreed, Sneyd is not a strong defender but that is hardly unique in a scrum half but he needs strong defenders either side of him.

The problem is he doesn't and other teams know it and are setting up to attack that area.

Carlos and Hadley seems best bet for now. Mini been a great player for us and still plays with great energy but having him and Sneyd stood next to each other is asking for trouble!

Doubt all you want mate. I was there. Got pizzing wet through walking to the ground, watched some good stuff from us in attack but bl00dy awful defence on our left edge. Fairamo isn't the only one. Mini drops off far too many tackles, griffins 1 on 1 defence isnt great and sneyd is a little half back who gets spotted so we probably have the 4 worst defenders stood together defending that side which is why we shipped 6 tries down there last night. Admittedly 2 were whilst we were.

Why do you think they didn't score down our right hand side despite having hastings on that edge?
Like too many fans, you don't really seem to see what's actually going on on the pitch.

We need some axcou tant to do us a pie chart of where we concede tries but I doubt shell don't as she didn't do the last one I asked for

Fact is we have conceded the most points in sl. Do you think that is acceptable? Admittedly we have played one more game than some team but it's hardly the point. Defensively were one of the worst in the comp and it needs sorting. Some of it is attitude and some of it structure but it's the coach's job to sort it

You slagged of Bureta last night, singling him out, whilst his positional sense is poor, he often is isolated, due to Griffin similar weakness in defence, admittedly Bureta can’t decide to stick or twist at times, and everyone can see it, but you have already rubbished our incoming winger “Swift” before he has arrived, it’s so negative.

As for Jackson Hastings, he has the ability to attack both edges, as he did last night with cross field kicks, and Louis running threat, we would have needed four Buretas to stop Pauli.

Salford are a decent team, they nearly pinched it, but we prevailed, and a try which will live long in my memory from Ratu was worth the rain soaked journey.

And pizzin wet through again this morning queuing for our Semi Final tickets.

Hope you’ve dried out.
