Rovers next 2 games on a Thursday against teams who have played in France 5 days earlier gives them a big advantage and should be 4 points for them now Smith is calling the shots.

Very favourable run of fixtures for them

Indeed. To be fair Hauraki's been very clear they are a top 5 side, just happening a bit later in the season than expected.

steve McNamara had a nightmare the other night ,dreamt Catalan had to play a fixture on a Thursday night,thankfully for him he woke up and realised it was all a bad dream.

Lost potential local schadenfreunde notwithstanding a good result for us with Rovers beating Warrington.

Four points behind them, in effect six given the points difference and the unlikely scenario of teams drawing these days.

We could be 4 points ahead of them, when 4 points behind was a possibility a few days ago.
