Hugely talented ?????? I would say fairly talented with a poor attitude, weak defence and little pace !! Sadly he seems content with what he is & doesn't show any signs of stepping up or improving. His attitude has too often stank for me - always blaming those around him.

Having watched all of the NRL it really highlights the gulf in standards between that and SuperLeague. Not aiming this just at Jake but I wonder how truly good he would have been in the NRL system ? He certainly would have defended WAY better, cut out the sulks and been in much better physical shape. On current performances he wouldn't be on anybodies roster - sadly that goes for the vast majority of SL though !!

Encouraging to see us leading the way in doing the right thing for players according to the League Express.

Yeh I read that last night its great that we had our pay cuts etc agreed weeks ago and that other clubs are being encouraged by the players union to follow our example. Looks like there is trouble at some and you can see how some clubs employees are upset that they are being asked to take pay cuts whilst their clubs are still spending money to sign players. If we have agreed the deals with our players it looks like we are honouring that agreement, which explains a lot about our stance on not signing anyone at this time.

Indeed, dealing with integrity and honesty is the only way most businesses will survive this situation, I know a lot of very skilled people who have been or will be laid off once employers have to start paying more of the wages, makes sense short term, but there will be a few that get pushed down the self employed route and will take business away from their former employers, obviously not in RL but certainly the trades.

Sure I'll get shot down and undoubtedly the SMC have us tied into contractual agreement, however, if one of our major outgoings relate to the stadium is there a case for ( short term) groundshare with HKR ?

Nothing would surprise me this year Kenty, on a similar controversial subject, sure to raise the hackles, how about AP and the Allams forge a new relationship regarding both professional teams on an even footing, everything is already in place, if old wounds can be healed, who knows even complete ownership of the stadium and combined finances may be the way forward.

"Not every Super League outfit has been able to work as smoothly as FC over the last few months, and it seems word has got around about the club’s behaviour. Hull Live has learnt that FC are being praised by high profile players and representatives at other clubs across the league for the way they have handled themselves during the Super League suspension and the pandemic."

Separately League Express says Hull KR and Warrington have the biggest gaps vs player expectations.

To try and get fans back into the stadium for both clubs next season what about issuing 15,000 passes which allow access to both Hull FC and Hull City home games.
The price would have to be attractive and probably in the prime seating areas.
The balance of available seats would be for both FC and Hull city fans not interested in watching both teams.
need some radical thinking for next season especially if Hull City are relegated
