In the land of wishful thinking once more. Patiently waiting for our time to finally arrive.

I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

Money doesn't talk it swears, Obscenity who really cares, Propaganda all is phony.

I'm the son and heir of a shyness which is criminally vulgar.

Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way.

A man who lives in hell can still aspire to heaven.

I do wonder if this is when rovers break that trophy drought.
Semi-finalists in 2022, beaten finalists 2023, winners 2024? One last step to take?
The obvious viewpoint is to always lean towards Wigan-Saints, but they've only won one apiece in the last ten years so it isn't necessarily the case.

Thought overall rovers were the better side and the result was probably about right.
Didn't see the Huddersfield win coming though and especially by that margin.

Wonder whether Guasch didn't fancy the costs of a cup run.

Two good coaches and two good teams
Hardaker probably lost Leigh that game with his play the ball errors.
Hope Smith was watching that
Two teams that have solid well drilled defence, fast play the ball,a structured attack and hardly any penalties in the whole match.
Thats what we were looking forward to Mr Smith and you failed miserably
Can see HKR at Wembley again this year

It certainly didn't help us but, we failed to defend our errors, especially in that 2nd half.

Tom Amone is a fantastic player.
He got stepped easily for Burgess try as he was sliding, but other than that he has absolutely dominated the middle. Bumping players off with ease and making half breaks. Rovers' forwards haven't been able to deal with Leigh's, mainly Amone.

hes gotta be one of the best props in SL right now, plays big minutes, always making big yards and bending the line aswell, I don't think he was a big name in the NRL either so it shows that there's very good players available if teams do there homework.
Out of contract aswell so it'll be interesting if other teams try tempt him away.

I reckon Degsy will throw the checkbook at him to stay , I guess Lam & Moylan will be marquee players for Leigh ?

Most probably will do, I think he'll have to because there'll be a few teams interested in him.

What about Asiata? Maybe even Ipape?
