I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Needs to go, hes making absolutley baffling decisions.

Only problem is there doesnt seem to be any rugby league intelligence at the club to make an astute coaching appointment.

There seems little intelligence full stop

After reading Smiths comments in Hull Live I want him to go even more now.

"It happens".... but why the love does it happen? Your job is literally to make it not happen. Never heard such blasé comments from a coach before after a complete hammering. Can anybody imagine Shaun Wane losing by 50 points and saying "it happens".

"but the start flattened them out, as did the fatigue of the matches leading up to this game over the last few weeks".... come on, it's week 5!! I get its a tough sport but how can you blame that result on fatigue when it's so early in the season. And if they are fatigued then it's entirely the coaching staffs fault for not getting them fit in pre season. No wonder Clifford made the comments he did.

"Danny is okay. His hamstring fatigues by the end of the match, and he's finding it hard to get right through"..... I dunno, perhaps stop trying to flog the guy for 80 minutes every week then??? Perhaps use the international hooker you have in the squad at, maybe, hooker??? Perhaps spell Danny with the promising youngster you have sitting waiting for his chance???

Absolute joke of an interview to be honest after such a pathetic defeat. Sounds like he has 0 passion and everything is just 'it is what it is, we go again next week, we'll be fine'.

It's like Lanes interview earlier in the week saying they know what they've got to work on...then they go out and make the exact same mistakes again

I'm sooooo bored of listening to Smith
He talks without actually saying anything.
He is full of nothing but hot air.

I also find it insulting to us, the paying customers, that have to suffer that nauseatingly depressing rugby, that he does not come out and tell us as it is.

Like his team, he is so full of bull poop.

I stayed to the end because that’s what I do. Many didn’t and quite a few around me said they wouldn’t be back until Smith had gone. I’m not a coach bagger but AP has to be told the depth of feeling amongst the fans, if he doesn’t act many will leave and it’ll take a miracle to get them back. The problem is, if AP acts, who could possibly turn this shower of Shiite we call a team around. I called for Litten to fullback, Hoy to stand off, Smith to scrum half and Nu Brown to hooker with Houghton to loose man, Smith just continues with his failed line up, so to answer the thread’s question, YES.
On another note, if that was a yellow and probably 2 games for Pele, then the sport is an absolute disgrace and will probably lead to more fans leaving.

No, that's exactly what they work on, surely?
They are so good at making the same mistakes it must be down to coaching and practice.

Seems Smiths hands are tied with a strict playing budget..Pearson has told him what he has and he has tried to build a team with it..12 players left last season, during or at the end...replaced with 7...quality wise, its worse.

Don't think Smith will work his magic with us I'm afraid.

Do you think Salford spend more than us? How can they make it work but we can't?

Smith has no magic.

Quality wise we know we are nowhere near Saints or Wigan but what I do expect from our playing squad is effort and development.
London played with structure and enthusiasm and were unlucky not to beat us and you could argue they have less quality than us.

I want to see an improvement in all facets of our play and discipline.
This is down to coaching not money.
