is most known for his coaching at huddersfield, catalan and most recently oldham. has got tonnes of experience. Think this is what barrow require.

Des means business alright and in a way it is good to see a Chairman who admits to being a friend of Dave Clarke's, making important decisions that he feel will benefit the club - It may be the wrong one but at least he is willing to make them

That will do for me. I wonder who will get the job fulltime ? I hope it Deakin because that will mean he has won the Grand Final

on a serious note, i think barrow have to put that issue aside on concentrate on getting back on track. If this deckin can boost the teams peformances for the play offs, we will be back on track. Clarke has been a fantastic worker, full credit to him.

Sorry to see clarky go but I think it's the right decision, our performances haven't been good enough for the players we have. I know we got to the final but anyone who watched the quarters & semi's will know how lucky we were to be there. The fact he's still at the club suggest he's stepped down on good terms and maybe had his own doubts about his ability to coach at this level and working with a more experienced coach will give him more ideas for the future.
