But my word though that was a joy to watch. Our pack mauled theirs in the 1st half and Watene and Tamgart looked shell shocked, the pressure clearly getting to Tamgart as he lost his head....

The game was over before the hour mark and to be honest I'm surprised at 'fax, they looked a shadow of the team they were in the semi-final and on tonight's showing do not look like grand final material by any stretch. They simply had no answer to us in attack or defence.
Awesome effort all round, just hope the injuries to Fletch and Duffers aren't too serious..

Don't pop the champagne corks too early, remember how was stuffed Cas on 2007!!!!!

Aye but we're coming good at the right time of the season and it seems to be teams around us who are falling away.. Still a long way to but on the back of that performance we can take big psychological advantage.

There was always the hope in my mind that Fax were flat track bullys. When Fax fans were a bit worried after the NRC game and then Sheffield and then the Fev game, I always wondered if Fax looked amazing if teams allow Fax to play their own game, but if you actually get in their faces they just cant play.

I certainly wouldn't write off their chances as yet, but everything that has happened this season (and last) suggests their players are 'flash harry's' or 'all pants and no trousers'. You would think with players like Tamghart, Watene, Maloney and Cherryholme, Fax would have both the class and the grunt, sadly for them, it appears their player just don't like the battle.

Our team simply isn't big enough to be honest. Too many little chiefs running about the place. People criticise Larder but he dents defences. We need more players with his gusto and a bit more size in the pack.
