What a farce this lot is going to be.

Players coming and going every other week. The Championship used as a reserve SL grade.

No thanks. Recipe for unrest and very patchy form on the field.

Get a squad together and stick with it. If new players are required, get them to sign up for the rest of the season at least.

I think that section is just supposed to be players that we are signing on Widnes owned contracts.

I'm not really happy about this 'Dual Contract' malarkey. I certainly don't see the point in bringing on youngsters from SL clubs at the expense of our own. I'd rather see us go for some decent experienced players alongside our own youngsters.

I guess the new cap and exemptions f**ks that up.

Unfortunately the only way we will ever escape becoming a feeder club is by playing the RFL at their own game. When will these people have the decency to walk away and let someone with the interests of the game as a whole take charge?

Well, we've promoted Houghton who I rate, we have Gannon and Kavanagh so I'd like a more experienced prop anyway. Good luck to Davies, if the opportunity to stay in SL is there I don't blame him one bit.
