How they got in SL ahead of you I will never know. We played them yesterday and won by 30 without ever getting out of first gear. They are truly abysmal!

I know mate it a big joke.Maybe on the next franchise we swap with salford?Ste o connor wants to spend so we can do well in superleague.

I don't suppose he WANTS to spend, but he may well be prepared to spend to get the right players to fullfil his "dream". There is a slight difference.

Salford fans fought among themselves and with police and some were arrested too. I know we have a big rivalry with you lot but I don't think I have ever seen anyone arrested at a wire/widnes game!

You cant of been many games between us and w**e in the 70's 80's and even the 90's.

Been going to matches about 33 years mate! I have seen banter,arguments,but never fighting! I don't see the point of it either. Battling with opposition fans in the street won't change the result on the pitch!

Maybe if Widnes hadn't gone bust they might have got a franchise?

And if Salford hadn't lied about the true financial state of Red City Developments...
And if Wakefield had been honest about the actual chances of their proposed ground getting the necessary approval at that stage..

I was at the game on Friday for reasons I won't go into on here. Both sides had a poor game but Warrington have some classy players to lift them out of the drudge. Atkins was very good and in Warringtons defence maybe they tried to throw the ball around a bit too much considering the conditions.

As for Salfud... They had plenty of the ball but absolutely no guile..

Good away following though and very supportive. I was expecting more to get thrown out though considering the messing about with the police.
