I believe they may be the only side that may have been "caught out" by this that didnt make alternative arrangements.

Despite great efforts from the RFL and ourselves, the restrictions on flights into the UK airspace has finally caused this Carnegie Challenge Cup match to be postponed.

Lezignan were due to fly out this morning with Ryan Air - this flight was only cancelled last night and a coach / ferry alternative was not possible.

The RFL will advise early next week."

Only thing thats throwing me is I heard that Ryan Air had cancelled all flights to/from UK until at least Monday on Thursday night?

Lezignan had the same options as Toulouse, Leigh and Salford. They should be thrown out and banned from entering again. The tie should be awarded to Widnes, who should not be penalised by having to fit another game in. (the RFL will probably ask you to play them the night before you are on SKY)

Leigh arrived at their hotel in Carcassonne at 4 a.m. on match day. (they arrived at their Folkestone hotel at 12:30 a.m. the night before!) The RFL has magnanimously moved the kick off back from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. to give Leigh an extar hour to prepare! (Toulouse got two hours - consistency rules!)

That only happened late on Friday, I think.
