Anyone looking for the new range of RL books in WH Smith over the last couple of weeks might have been disappointed as they were not out on display. The cabinet for them had to be used for some other books. But next week the RL books will be out on show in a new cabinet and to them has been added a new novel.
"Braver Than All The Rest" by Phillip Howard is the story of a mother's fight for her son who despite having muscular dystrophy is a keen rugby league fan and determined to get the best out of life.
In League Weekly this week, Ray French wrote "Phil has interwoven the tragic events of a normal family with the exciting world of rugby league and it is a book which deserves success, an excellent and moving read."
