so on this, Day One of the 'Golden Era' how are the widnes massive doing? didnt do a lot of partying myself last night, mostly just enjoyed not worrying about yesterday, like i have for the past three years. sat around smiling to myself feeling very satisfied, without a care in the world woke up this morning with a smile on my face and have spent the past hour repeating 'we are superleague' in an effort to convince myself im not dreaming
ahhhhhh not a care in the world.
i dont even drink but i will be doing so later

I find the thought of Super League next season both pleasurable and enticing. However, I have felt a mélange of sensations that both make the hairs on ones spine stand up and yet still have a strong measure of disgust for the system, which brought this about.

I didn’t get vexed up last night either because, whilst the result is great for the club and the fans, it just isn’t like winning a Grand Final. It is just a bureaucratic, but vital, rubber stamp, which gets us where we need to be.

My feelings now are of relief that it’s all over and looking forward the rest of the season where we are now. I just hope that the players respond well to the situation, as I’d like to finish this season on a massive high.

indeed. i will allow myself a little excitement and satisfaction till the end of play on sunday. then its back to business.

I'd like to see Widnes go on and win this years Championship final............... After all, its gonna be a long time before they win another game at the HJ.....lol
