So, first off, it is rare I post on the message board of my own club, rarer still on that of an opponent...As a fan I have loved the rivalry between widnes and leigh over the past six years and will miss it immensely when you join the elite next year (and well you deserve it)
BUT!
Steve Tyrers reaction to your teams third try (from ex leyther and cack second rower macgraff leuleuai), by patting and shouting at Jamie ellis was not only unsportsmalike, but leads fans like me feeling immensely smug when we ruin your ass.... i would ask steve how many tries against leigh he has managed this season!
Message to dennis, trying to put a player on his back in every tackle is ok in RU, but even in champs some teams will exploit this amateur approach, your forwards are not big/quick enough to pursue this defensive strategy for 80 mins
Lastly, as an outsider looking in, i would imagine your biggest challenge lies in player recruitment, its all well and good pretending you have a great youth programme, but how many played tonight? I point you in the direction of the following players on the field tonight produced in leigh
