Due to the re-signing of Thacks and the signing of I'Anson, it looks like we'll be sticking with them anyway when everyone is fit. Thacks at full back would be fine if he plays as a third pivot, but against Leigh he didn't and he struggled to find space to exploit in attack, teams are almost man marking him this year.
IF Thacks is at 6, I agree with I'Anson at 7, his passing and kicking game is spot on for a 7, he's not a player to take the line on (incidently Thacks gets abuse for doing this sometimes) but two similar players in the halves won't work. I think it needs time but there's enough there to work on, it's up to Betts et al to improve the organisation of the middle of the park and get them talking.
Agree about Coyle playing well, but I'd play him at 9 at the moment with Lunt on the bench and Netherton on the next bus back to Castleford.
