Just saying that myself, what about forward given behind own line resulting in drop out.

At half time I said we'd end up winning by a drop goal and got subsequently laughed at. Nearly right

As entertaining as it was.... what an awful game... I've seen Under-12s defend better but fair play Widnes you overcame Halifax Benny Hill Rugby League to get the win.

Ive been saying this since the game but repeatedly got shot down so nice to have a neutral say the same. Sometimes you have high scoring games where the defences arnt truly awful but that was just terrible. Any team in this league would have beaten either team on that showing. I fear for the Bradford game.

As neutral as a Leyther can be!

Just a joke (?) its pretty plain to see the defence of both teams was woeful! As a Widnes fan I can see how individual skill can score tries yet a lack of cohesion between a new team formation left huge defensive holes.
Quite sure any other team would have crucified us!

I have to agree. I think the Fax team of the last two seasons would have put 70 on you. We are so far removed from that team it is unbelievable but still managed to get a bonus point. I guess that says a lot for both teams. Im still in shock I`anson took the drop goal giving us chance to get the ball back instea of a grubber in to the ingoal. There were some bad decisions in the game but that was one of the worst.

Chris, I think his point is we were both crap, and he's right. We should have been out of sight by half time but they could have snatched it at the end. Were you at Batley? Fax put more on us than Batley, so I think Benny Hill rugby is just about right.

Not sure what im thinking i have won. Watching the team that ive supported home and away for nearly 30 years play like that? Ive seen the good and the bad in that time and in my honest opinion that was up there with the worst i have seen. Wont get any arguments from me about us been crap, infact i was worried when we started announcing our signings pre season.

I disagree about 70, but i think your team last year is not quite as good as Leighs team.They beat us by 40 points not 70.
