Absolutely. It's one of the main issues of the year. It's probably psychological as much as anything by now.

My glass is still half empty im afraid, our defence is woeful and Dewsbury have been pretty crap this year. 2 points i suppose but were way of enticing any fans back that's for sure.

Did not go today to judge the team, but seems the defence was bad again.So who is worth a shot at Superleague on fulltime training?I will be going against Hull to see us get smashed. I like to take Flynn,Hulme,I,Anson,Kav,Coyle,Lunt,Grady,Kurt Haggerty,Allen?,Varks,and then the youngsters.We need to find another 15 or 16 players.

Just makes me wonder more and more about the Betts appointent? If we cant get the recruitment staff and coaching staff combination right in this league, we have a cat in hells chance of getting it right in SL. From recruitment to coaching the team this year, so far it has been a shambles. Compare this team to the one we had 3/4/5 years ago. We didn't win the league but we would go to teams like Dewsbury,york, hunslet and comfortably beat them by 50. We're going to struggle getting points from anywhere playing the way we are. I fail to believe that every single club in this division(including promoted teams) have improved dramatically, i think its just a case our team has got worse year by year.

A bit of mixed bag really. Mellor only seem to play about 15-20 and then he went off pressumably injured and I don't remember him coming back on. Tomkins was ok, he was positive and tried to take us forward as much as he could, but wouldn't say he was outstanding. Crosby was by far the best of the 3 and should have started - both Tomkins and Crosby should have started really and we looked far better with them on the pitch. Crosby would probably be close to the Widnes man of the match.
