It's not just that, it's about offering them a future. We can do that as we're super league bound. I know of one player who was offered double what we could pay him by a high riding super league team, but he chose to stay with us anyway because of that.
We need to develop a system whereby such poaching is somehow compensated for. I remember how cheated I felt when Salford got a super league place ahead of us with their nonexistent youth policy and they poached a few of ours and took them with. Then they had the gall to complain when Richie Myler went off to wire even though they got money for him.
