so you wouldnt want a 22 yr old who has played plenty of super league and also broke your defence a number of times this year,matt gardner and thackery are rumoured to be going to halifax on twitter,you dont want are best centre but your getting are worst

Dont rate Tyrer at all. Ropati although he has been crap for you could be an awesome player under the right coach, has gone backwards at Widnes but i was disapointed we missed out on him last year. I doubt we will sign Gardner tbh. Well i hope not anyway. Thackery signing was confirmed today but has been in the bag for a while.

Major disappointment but like you say,under the right coach.Somehow I doubt Ropati would have flopped at Leigh under Millward or at Featherstone under Powell.

Ropati was his own worst enemy in that his jumping out of the line and missing the man was costly! Though the fact we never got him enough ball in attack meant he couldn't make up for it that way.

He isn't SL material original red devil,it's quite obvious but one or two of his suck holes on twitter can't or won't face that fact.

Not really...

Like a few players he just needed a full year in Champ playing one posistion (as he said himself) to fully develop. Loan to Crusaders and odd games on wing in a gash Salford side were a waist of time where he (like Penny Imo) would have benefited more from a full year starting in championship.

He's been excellent this year in attack and defence, to ignore that is just daft. Does that make him a SL quality centre? Not neccesairily but at 22 certainly worth another shot at least.

the facts are he aint going to be playing super league next year but in the championship his stats are 38 apps and 30 trys and 158 goals and that was in a team that has not played has many games as leigh or fev this year and not scored no were near as many points has them and he was still second top points scorer,what ever championship team that gets him will get a good player
