What have Widnes done to him?

I was at the England U17 v AIS game at Leigh yesterday and he looks to have put far too much weight on and consequently lost a lot his zip.

I'm afraid he could end up going down the same route as Tommy Lee and James Coyle.

I think he's still waiting for that bloody 6 of yours to get the ball out to him

Didn't look too bad at all, probably us bulking up through SL translation though but didn't get much space to run yesterday I didn't think?

I think it is funny how people see things differently and a Leigh friend said he had a good game, and was very safe.Well maybe needs a diet programme?

I didn't say he had a poor game, he was solid, but lacked the zip that I've seen from him in previous games. I just hope for his and the games sake that he doesn't over bulk up (Lee/Coyle) and ruin himself.

I get what your saying mate! Jack's build is quite stocky for a FB as it is really but I'm sure the club will be trying to get some extra muscle on him for the SL and even just SL U20's set up next season so maybe he's just still going through that as early off season.

Sure he'll be fine under the current set up and hopefully fulfil his early potential to be a real star still would have liked to see Alex Brown around him for England though, pair have a great partnership we'll hopefully see for years.

Sorry mate I read it wrong due to no zip.He is a big lad and hope does not end up like Coyle as he is poop.Heard England lacked a scrumhalf and wish Tom Gilmore had played.Alex Brown the winger for Widnes should have been on the wing.

The scrum half was poor, but Williams should have played there with Hampshire at standoff. They were the standout halfback pairing for England U16 earlier this year.

Have to agree with some of the original post, I watched the game on Thursday and couldn't believe the size of him. He didn't look too nippy at all, though he showed some good touches of his obvious quality.
