I think he needs to work on his defences (not the only one I no) he was at folt for 3 try's at warrington on Thursday he needs to stay on the wing and no be dragged in what others think

I don't agree with you. Yes he could work on his defence but sadly for him it's a lose lose situation. If he stays on the wing he is outnumbered when the ball is popped off out wide with no helps from the centres and his defensive qualities are questioned, or if he is dragged in to help support then the gap he left is a clear try scoring zone and he is again questionable for leaving the gap.
He cannot win which is a shame.

Scouse is right. And when the opposition break the our line there are few other players in the world I trust more to work their balls off and chase them down.

I don't think I could agree with you less. He was left on his own against at least two men for all those tries. What's he supposed to do realistically?

Doesn't help that Dean/Hanbury have been sucked inside to cover the lack of scrambling defence. The defence as a whole is a joke, our points difference shows that.

On the 2nd he was man for man on there centre.
On the 3rd (all Riley tries btw) he was actually covering 2 men!!!

Overlaps aren't caused by a winger but by play inside. Often one or two plays before the try and all.

Every season for the last few years paddy flynn has been showing more and more improvement and this season he has took the step up to super league and surprised me by improving again a lot quicker than i thought he might.Not saying i think he's the finished article but if a few more of our players showed his spirit and determination this forum might not make such depressing reading.
