Watched Widnes today against Cas on the box, you seemed devoid of ideas or structure in attack, although it seems a given you can score points...

After attacking Cas you gave endless penalties away and got marched up the field to conceed, Ben Cross will not help this situation unfortunatley, Ben Davies can be included here.

Betts seemed to be tearing his hair out and i can understand why at present but its your first season back in SL and as aopposing supporter I am glad to see you back there. Long term hopefully the club is moving forward on and off the pitch and it will come together.

The club has gone nowhere ON the pitch. Off it - they've done a grand job and off the pitch activities is just what proper fans love isn't it?




The RFL need to cut the powerpoint crap and get back to basics - put the emphasis back on the field of play. Make it harder to go up. Perhaps they should give one criteria point per kilo of weight inside a trophy cabinet.

.Widnes look like a mid table championship team,which they were last season,playing in SL despite having over a dozen players in the squad with SL experience.Work that one out.I think we are now actually going backwards instead of progressing.Defence has been atrocious all year but with the odd spurt of invention on attack.Even that seems to have dried up now.

I feel sorry for the Widnes speccies, their lack of numbers today and general lack of any noise shows a feeling of inevitability for the season already.

I am fed up mate i dont go any away games now until a new coaching set up.Betts and Cullen did average in the Championship and when recruiting they bring poop like Leuluai,Coyle,Finnigan,and in my opinion only Flynn is the decent player only.Allen,Pickersgill and Haggerty average then buy poop like Clarke,Cross,Wintersteine,Isa and mickey heads Watts and Moore.The conditioner is awful he just studies on his booty and my mate who is a conditioner said we look unfit.Can not disagree.We bring loan players in and do not play our youth who are decent too.Jack Owens played well at Fullback every time watched him but never plays.

Hanbury looks good, Ah Van is a class above, Flynn's alright, other than that you just don't look good enough.

There is just no structure to anything, just a loving shambles on the pitch.
