I agree although I haven't seen that much of him. The odd signing here and there / loan player will hopefully beef the team up a bit.

He played excellently for us today Charlie.

He was up there. If Cahill & Ah Van hadn't been so good he could have got MOM. He gave us plenty of zip at the PTB & also a bit of aggression in defence. It's probably no coincidence that when he was off the field the Giants had better spells in the game. They scored points while Pickersgill was (harshly) in the bin but they had good moments when McShane was on the bench. Glad to have him!

Yeah he had a good game. But for me Hansbury was the mon,not forgetting Cahill top effort.

Great to see Paul McShane finally getting some good game time at a team where it seems the Coach actually shows faith in him and lets him play the game, Hopefully he'll carry on with this form until the end of the season and who knows maybe even sign a permanent deal at Widnes with his limited opportunities under Brian McDermott at Leeds Rhinos.

Got to hold my hands up there and say that was a decent bit of coaching. The lad had understandably lost a bit of zip around that time but giving him a 5 minute breather was just the ticket.
