Personally I quite like Friday night games.... it's good being in work having something to look forward to that evening.. plus it frees up the weekend to spend some time with my family. I also like the atmosphere under the lights and there's the potential for a beer or two after the game.

Appreciate it's far from ideal for some people and it seemed a resounding failure last time we trialled it.

This Friday night being match night could be Rule's idea.
Most clubs who go from Sunday to Friday night increase their gate.
If there is an increase and it's significant then that's the way your club will go.
