Took a Saints' fan to her very 1st SL game. She predicted the draw on the walk up to the ground. Wish we'd gone via the bookies! I thought we could have won this one and gave away a couple of soft tries. Fair play to Catalans though - good team with a fair bit of flair. Reasonably happy with the point. Maybe a push for a top 8 finish?

Rather a biased report in parts - and inaccurate as don't know why Dean "was lucky to stay on the field" and wonder if your reporter was refering to Leuluai's shoulder-charge on Simon?

This shoulder charge - medium sized man on a bigger man - was not as worthy of further action than Fakir's cowardly late shoulder charge on tiny Mellor... both incidents though being put on report and no further action taken by the RFL disciplinary committee.

Phelps got annoyed because Millward hit him after he take scored his try, no need for Millward to have done so at all. The try had been scored, he just wanted to hurt Phelps.
