At what point in the match did those idiots kick off? I ask simply to see if there was any correlation between their moronic behaviour and Widnes' capitulation. Wasn't this quite a close game until deep into the first half?

When a similar situation occurred at a Wire/KR game last year (some complete doughnuts kicked off amongst themselves and the stewards had to intervene), I was close enough to the pitch to see the KR players faces visibly reacting with disgust, and plenty of head shaking, followed by a period when they were clearly not concentrating on the game.

I'm thinking maybe the stupid antics last weekend were enough to make some Widnes players think "what's the point?" ... unfair on the genuine fans, but with most SL teams being so well matched, it doesn't take much of a drop off in concentration for the opposition to run away with the game.

From what I've heard, one balloon who was bladdered went to remonstrate with the team after letting a daft try in (probably at the start or during our collapse) and was unhappy that 4 stewards followed him. Words were exchanged (most likely abusive from the idiot) and the rest is well documented.....

think it was after Jamie Shaul's second try, so around 30minute mark?

So, about 28-10 down .... I suppose the drop off in performance had already begun by then .... even if it did get take a turn for the worse after the break.
